Meet Bruce

argaiv1708

From the time I graduated college back in 1988, I assumed climbing the corporate ladder would be my path to prosperity. I was lucky enough to land a job with a Fortune 100 IT company right out of college and after a few years there, I was offered a higher paying job in the medical sales industry. I stayed in medical sales for almost 14 years, and while I worked for several companies that offered me better pay and more opportunities for advancement, I eventually came to a sobering realization: The more money I earned, the more those companies thought they owned me.

I made a great six figure income but I was required to spend more and more time away from my family. Even when I was home I wasn't really available as I was required to be on conference calls or on the computer or answering voicemails. I was averaging 50-60 hours a week working. When I started calculating the number of days I missed having dinner with my wife and kids and the dance recitals and tennis and swim lessons that I couldn't attend I realized that the cost to my family was too great.

While I had tried several entrepreneurial ventures over the years, I had always avoided home-based businesses. The only ones I had heard about were the MLM deals out there—you know, the ones where the first one in wins and everybody else loses and suddenly your friends won't return your phone calls… When my wife came to me 10 years ago with a home based opportunity with a Wellness company, I immediately lumped it into the same category as those MLM deals.

Having worked in sales and marketing for many years, I started to research the company searching for the "Gotcha." But a funny thing happened during my witch hunt: The more digging I did, the more impressed I became with the company. I changed from a cynic and skeptic to my wife's biggest cheerleader. And unlike my corporate job where no matter how hard I worked, my salary and bonuses remained about the same, the harder my wife worked at her business, the bigger her checks got. Ten months into working her home business and my wife's monthly income was the same as my corporate one and a year in her income was exceeding mine.

Fourteen months in, my wife retired me from my corporate job and we haven't looked back. For more than 9 years, our kids have had a stay-at-home mom and a stay-at-home dad. We still work hard at building our business but the benefits have been innumerable. We have not only made great income for the last 10 years, but we have time freedom to do the things that are important to us—which is spend time with our family and friends.

In this tough economy, many people are feeling more and more stressed out. There is no such thing as job security anymore, and people are working harder and harder for the same—or even less—pay. If you are ready to make a "No Excuses" commitment that will allow you to earn additional income and have more time and freedom, contact me. I would love to share more with you about what I do.
